Ahoova and Abraham (Avie) Mishael - Founders
Ahoova and Abraham (Avie) Mishael founded Mishael’s Electrolysis Center in 1984 in Atlanta Georgia. Ahoova is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) who also trains the electrologists and manages the office while Avie manages the business.
When they founded the company, Avie was a graduate student at Georgia Tech, where he earned a Master of Architecture degree and Ahoova was a part-time teacher and did electrolysis part-time. Ahoova’s great electrolysis treatments and excellent permanent results spread quickly by word-of-mouth and Mishael’s Electrolysis Center grew to five full-time electrologists. After a 30-year career as an architectural designer, Avie switched careers to help manage their growing business.
Mishael’s Electrolysis Center, LLC has a great team of highly proficient electrologists who completed advanced electrolysis training with Ahoova and successfully treated thousands of happy clients from Metro Atlanta and the southeastern states. They have a caring and cheerful personality with a genuine passion for electrolysis and helping clients look their best and feel great about their appearance. They find it very rewarding to see the positive impact their electrolysis treatments have made in their client’s lives. Ahoova Mishael, CPE
Ahoova holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Florida International University in Miami. She is a graduate of the Electrolysis Institute of Florida and received her early training at The Electrolysis Center in Miami. Ahoova is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) and a member of both the Georgia Electrologists Association (GEA) and the American Electrology Association (AEA). Ahoova also co-authored a chapter titled "Electrolysis In Transsexual Women" in the book titled "Current Concepts in Transgender Identity" by Dallas Denny, which was published in 1998. Her education, training, experience, exceptional skills, efficiency, and unique techniques in electrolysis, along with her warm, friendly, and caring personality, are the reasons why Ahoova's clients rave about her, refer their family and friends, and why her services are so highly sought after throughout Atlanta and the southeastern states.
Heidi Kaplan, CPE, L.E.
Heidi Joined our center in 2015 as an electrologist. She earned her Certificate of Completion form the American Institute of Education (AIE) in Santa Ana California in 2004 and became a Licensed Electrologist (L.E.). In 2010 she became a Licensed Esthetician (L.E.) by earning a Certificate of Completion from the Georgia Career Institute (GCI) in Conyers Georgia. In 2016 she earned her certificate of Completion from the American Electrology Association and became a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE).
Carli Madison Grant, CPE
Carli joined our center in 2017 as an electrologist. She is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business from Georgia State University. Carli was one of our clients and she loved the results of her electrolysis treatments so much that she joined our team to help others look their best too!
Candace Lynnea Robinson, L.E.
Candace joined our center in 2018. She quickly excelled with the in-house electrolysis training provided by Ahoova Mishael and earned her designation as a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) in 2021 from the American Electrology Association. She is also a licensed Esthetician (L.E.).
The Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) credential signifies that an electrologist's knowledge has been tested and measured against a national standard of excellence. The credential is voluntary and requires continuing education to maintain.
The American Electrology Association (AEA) is the largest international nonprofit membership organization for permanent hair removal professionals. The AEA promotes the highest standards in Electrology education, practice and ethics.
The Georgia Electrologists Association (GEA) is a professional membership association dedicated to maintaining the quality and professionalism of the permanent hair removal industry by providing high level education to its members across the state.
